Solving problems around Eriador

The Prancing Pony, run by Barliman Butterbur, is reputable at best, dingy at worst. And yet, many of the Free People flock to the establishment. For a pint, some company, a song or a story. But some come to have a meeting with the Man named Gudwic. He appears at first glance to be a bit flamboyant to be residing in the inn, but his approach to all, offers the impression the Man has been around Common folk long enough to understand them.
He is at the spill of a network that connects those looking for employment, and those seeking the right people for their jobs. Reliable messengers or couriers are given important letters and packages that travel throughout Eriador. A lost pet cat found through the able means of a competent tracker in need of a quick job before moving on. You merely mention what you wish to have done, or what you are good at, and Gudwic sets you up with the required skills or job.
“The pay is fair, more than fair even.’’, Gudwic was caught saying when I asked him for his endeavours. “And of course, no dodgy business, I have a reputation to uphold!”
This reporter remains skeptical, but that is entirely due to the base of operation, but one thing is for sure, Gudwic is on the ball with his business, approaching newcomers and helping them find their way around Bree, and should they require it, set them up with a useful task to aid the local society.
