Chronicle Summary
In the years before the War of the Rings the King's Ships were tasked to protect the southern coast against the raids of the Corsairs of Umbar. Sometimes after a victorious sea battle Gondor's mariners would find the cargo hold of the Corsair ship full of slaves the Corsairs had taken captive from the villages in the coast of Harad. They posed a unique set of problems for Gondor.
