A true warrior, skilled veteran, and passionate fighter, Aurthiel has a small collection of trusted weapons she keeps on her person. These are her weapons, their origins, and the personal preferences of this ancient Noldo.
- Angcrist, the Iron Cleaver: Angcrist is Aurthiel's personal favorite sword. It has sharp and swirly engravings, a red gem crowned on the hilt, and is light in her hand. This arming sword was crafted by Aurthiel's cousin, Orotasarin, as a gift for her at the Havens of Sirion. The expert Gondolin metalsmith imbued the blade to glow blue when orcs and spiders were near.
- Celebcris, the Sliver Slash: A dwarvern axe prized by Aurthiel, frequently carried into battle. This axe was given to her as a grand gift from her dwarvern allies of Khazad-Dum, during the heights of Eregion and Khazad-Dum's alliance.
- Celaircu, the Brilliant Bow: A grand, winged recurve bow decorated with bird beaks. Celaircu had been Aurthiel's bow since she joined the Winged Kindred, and she always has used it since.
- Rovalcrist, the Winged Sword: An old arming sword of the First Age, this weapon served Aurthiel long and true since she first joined the Winged Kindred. The hilt is a golden color, likely bronze, and the blade is still a shining silver steel. The crossguard is carved into wings, and the pommel too have the properties of a wing. While she cherishes and prefers Angcrist more for a design closer to herself, and where it came from, Aurthiel will never abandon her first love.
- Morelmegil, Black Elf Sword: Aurthiel's trusted two handed longsword in the Winged Kindred. Like Rovalcrist, this elaborate sword has a hilt that is relfective of wings, feathers, and birds. The crossguard holds a red jewel between the two golden wings. The blade is very elaborate with detailed etchings and runes. While Aurthiel prefers using two one handed weapons, she still keeps Morelmegil for if she feels a two handed sword is more needed.
- Carakech, Jagged Spine: A spear Aurthiel bought from a weaponsmith in the early Second Age. Carakech has a medium shaft and a pointed tip. The tip is curved and expertly crafted with engravings of leaves in it. She always takes this spear out when traveling, keeping it slung over her back for when needed.
- Taurlang, Forest Cutlass: A Silvan Sword Aurthiel picked up in the War of the Last Alliance when she was disarmed. She just sort of decided to keep it then. The curved blade and elegant hilt are common for Silvan swords. Taurlang really is nothing special. She carries it sometimes, but prefers her arming swords as her main hand.
- Dolen Sigil, the Hidden Knife: Aurthiel thinks she got this from a smithy in The Greenwood in the latter half of the Second Age. A simplistic, curved, Silvan dagger. This is the perfect side arm for when all other forms of weaponry are unavailable; or a good surprise weapon; or a good choice for close quarters.
