Thick dusk had fallen cross the land
When our heroes found the orcs
Foul ugly beasts, dressed with rags
And armed with cruel boar-forks
With stealth our heroes advanced
Outnumbered, though they were
And crept into the orcish camp
And battled them right there
With sword and bow they fought the fray
And steel rang on steel
And though the foes were numerous
Our heroes refused to kneel
Brave Welton felled a mighty orc
And split his head in two
And Adoeron fired many an arrow
Each and every straight and true!
And soon the battle was fought to still
The orcs chased from the field
The heroes stood, proud and tall
For heroes never yield.
