Snaking Roots
After the short paragraph, comes another one...
The trees here are angry at what happened to them. They do not care who is friend or foe now, blinded by their anger. The roots twist and curl on the forest floor, writhing like a nest of snakes. The men seem to think they are snakes. They too are blind to the full extent of the natural world, it seems. A root caught around my foot and pulled me over, I cut it free. The same happened to the others. I sense the armoured one is beginning to see the world for what it is. The healer still outright refuses to see it - it scares him, or at least that is what I can gather.
