Sigfread would be sitting at the table working on a map. Next, to him stands a plate with some dried pork meat on it. he occasionally takes a piece from the meat
Turchiron enters the cave, from his conversation outside he'd know who would be present within, He strides past Hithfaerwen, calling out to her as he passes, speaking sternly, "You should stop running off from me." He stops as he reaches Atharan, "What is this I hear about a summons? I received none, If not for Hithfaerwen here being easily tracked I'd have not found this place."
Hithfaerwen looked up from grinding the athelas, her cheeks and nose pink from embarrassment.
Sigfread says, 'I had no need to send for you. I knew you'd follow Hithfaerwen here.'
Sigfread says, 'Why send a letter to someone who is bound to show?'
Sigfread says, 'Seems like a waste of paper.'
Turchiron casts a glance to Hithfaerwen before back to Atharan, "I had no idea this is where she'd end up, In her condition, she could have been hurt or worse, -again-. The further we move from the settlements of men, the more dangerous it becomes."
Sigfread says, 'I have trust in her. Surely she can not wield a bow as good as she used to but she can fend for herself if needed. Otherwise, she would have really died the first time.'
Hithfaerwen stood, a bit wobbly as she set the small stone bowl of crushed athelas next to Sigfread. She kept her eye off of them, her teeth holding her tongue from speaking.
Turchiron shakes his head, his voice becoming slightly more elevated, "She survived by chance, sheer luck, Not skill, It's not a matter of trusting her, It's trusting the rest of the world and that is something we -cannot- do, She told what happened when she went to find you.." He trails off as Hithfaerwen comes into better view, looking at her from beneath his hood.
Sigfread takes off his hood as he is amongst Kin now
Halthorn says, 'It's good to see you again too, my old friend.'
Hithfaerwen glanced to the other who entered, before bowing her head. Her feet took her back to the bucket she was sitting on before.
Sigfread looks back up to Nethdir ''My reunion with Hithfaerwen might not have been what she or I had hoped for. There were many emotions that spoke before the mind. But none the less it ended well. Is that not what counts Nethdir?''
Turchiron pulls down his hood, mimicking Atharan's actions, "Simply 'well' isn't good enough, She was hurt, She missed us, She missed you and just the same you and I both, All of our kinsmen, mourned for her, She had hoped to return to her father's loving embrace, But from what I was told, She was only met with cold greeting." He looks down at the seated man, looking all too unpleased.
Sigfread folds his map closed as he takes a deep breath and stands up ''And what will you do about it now Nethdir? It has passed. It can not be undone. Thus is the way it happened. Thus is the way it is. That does not mean I still act like that now?. Anyways. This cave might not be the place to discuss this..... let us head outside shall we?''
Hithfaerwen would have already stumbled out. She needed fresh air.
Hithfaerwen would be against the stone. Her eye closed and she rubbed her cheek.
Turchiron thunders from the cave, kicking a stone as he passes, moving away from the entrance, He moves to the nearby tree and attempts to make himself calm down.
Sigfread calmly exits the cave. He seems to be neutral of emotion and calmed of mind
Turchiron rests against the tree, arms folded. He watches across the marshes in silent thought.
Turchiron turns his head to glance at the newcomer, A frown still visible across his face, he makes no attempt at a greeting, simply turning back to the marshes.
Sigfread leans back against the tree looking towards the old fort in the far off distance ''Your mind is too troubled on this matter Nethdir. Perhaps I was wrong in the way I acted at first but I too had emotions. And I too had frustration. But it is in the past Nethdir.... There is no need to keep this on the mind. She is welcomed back into my life like the day I first met her. She is my blood and I will protect and care for her as best I can. But she is also a grown woman whom must find her own cause to life.'' He then looks over to his old friend ''Or perhaps has found her cause in you''
Turchiron doesn't look to Atharan, keeping his gaze fixed out on the Marshwater ruins ahead. He remains silent for a while, before suddenly bursting out, His voice laden with his own frustration, "She's one of the only friends I have left, All of the others are either dead, missing or serving our cause in some unimaginable place, Losing her, to begin with, was hard, Having her come back, running off into potential danger, not receiving the help she needs, That she -deserves-, It's.. I can't stand it, I can't let anything of the sort happen again.
Hithfaerwen quietly watched the two by the cave entrance but glanced over at the outburst from Nethdir.
Hithfaerwen took quick steps forward over to her Father and Nethdir, giving them a steely gaze. Or wink.
Sigfread says, 'It is alright dear. Just airing out some frustration. Will you give us a tad longer?'
Turchiron doesn't look to Hithfaerwen either, Keen on keeping his gaze fixed upon the ruins.
Hithfaerwen took a breath. She was reluctant to move away, but she turned on her heel - wobbling - and went to the edge of Marsh.
Turchiron looks on as Hithfaerwen wobbles along, His eyes filling with slight sadness, his anger giving way to a tone to match, "It's not just the danger that's the problem, She told me of how you met, How you spoke to her, I don't want to keep her from you, Quite the opposite, I want her to have a father, A loving father, One that can relate to her, Show sympathy, Empathy, Show love and kindness in a moment when she'd need it most, My father is often absent himself, But he dedicates his life to protecting our people, Much as you and I have done, But unlike myself, She now needs you more than ever."
Sigfread says, 'My friend.. please if you can. Let your mind be cleared from this matter. All have arrived and it is time we discuss the problem at hand. What happened in Oathbarthon and how we should act upon it.'
Turchiron continues looking down toward Hithfaerwen, "Nothing should keep you from her, A top priority, But should you focus on your dealing with your 'Friends of Bree', Then I will be the one to step up and ensure nothing terrible befalls her." He then turns to Atharan.
Turchiron speaks with little love for these Bree men, "I heard about Fiontann's daughter, A shame." He steps back from the tree and then raises his hands, "Fine then, You go address the crowd."
Sigfread says, 'I would wish none other to care for my daughter when I can not Nethdir....'
Sigfread says, 'Perhaps one day you and I will be truly a family. Not just by our friendship.... but by a bond...'
Sigfread says, 'Yes.... that would be nice..'
Turchiron looks to Atharan, His eyes steeled in determination, "I shan't let you down, Not again."
Sigfread says, 'Go get Hithfaerwen please, we ought to start....'
Turchiron nods and moves back to Hithfaerwen, talking out to her as he approaches, "Come now Hithfaerwen, Your father has some information to fill us in on."
Hithfaerwen turns to the left, to look at him. She took a breath, a frown adorning her face. "Oh. I'm coming..."
