Deep Concerns

Many things had gone on today that I felt like my head could just explode. I mean, it had started out sort of nice but then it got down to being bizarre.

I went to the Pony so I could relax though in hopes that I would meet with my friend again. I ordered myself a wine and found Aeru by the wall so I had joined him. We had a bit of small talk. I had told him of the business that I have now and what it was truly for. He is a truly caring friend in his own way as he would be pissed if I were to die. I stood against the post afterwards, staying there until Aallan had come by from his group. We had talked for a little while until he had to go for a job. What I could only do was to wish him well and for his safe return. I finished up my wine before going outside. I went up the hill that had overlooked Bree and laid down at the ruins. It was amazing that this would bring back memories of the past, memories of when I had given my choice of where I would stay to Corrben. Ha... I wonder if he still hates me.

I stayed at the ruins a little while longer. Not wanting to doze off, I made my way back to the Pony. Aeru wasn't there so I sort of stood where he usually stood at beside the wall. My thought had gone to my friend, wondering of where she was at. A man overheard me talking of her until he asked of me to follow him. I recognized him a fair few times, enjoying the local music, though I haven't caught his name. Seeing as how he was light-hearted, I went to follow him to the back. He eventually led me to my friend. I was sure as hell relieved to see her. As much as the reunion would be happy, it was cut short as she warned me about when she overheard of people talking about me and if I was to be willing to kill. She believed that I was being used. I know who she was talking about and why she had assumed that sort of thing and taking it out of context. I told her that I started a bodyguarding business and that what she heard had led up to that. We eventually said our farewells as her and the man had left. I was still troubled but I went to the main room.

I met this one girl named Cangill, who was from Dale apparently because of her accent. I was only lucky that I picked that up because of a few old friends. I only spoke to her for a little while as she had waited for a friend of hers that accompanied her for this trip. I have to admit, from what I've seen, she was timid as hell. It was after that that the most peculiar thing happened.

As I had gone to try out this whiskey since I told Aeru that I would try it sooner or later, there was this woman. Uh... Think her name was Juli... Juliannie? Somewhere along those lines. Anyways, I won't go into much details on that but she was very flirtatious around me. Truth be told, I haven't had something like that happen to me before and therefore, I honestly don't know what to think of it.

Afterwards... Well, let's just say that some awkward stuff happened while Velvette was around. Not going to go into any details since I'm practically dumbfounded myself at the whole event. Perhaps Bryn had a point about her after all as much as that pains me to admit. I made my way home afterwards after giving a short greeting and talk to Gwaed.

I could not help but to feel wary after the warning that I have been given. I feel practically lost. I wish I had that guidance that I used to have but with everyone gone or doing their own jobs or something, I'm alone.
