When Kristophor had approached me in the common room, saying he needed to speak with me. I felt my heart sink at that very moment. I had a sense that something was amiss, we wandered down the corridor and I was told that Caliko was not returning. He indeed did return to Bree-land but ran at the sight of his brother. It all seemed so sudden, but I expected it. Kristophor had told me Caliko had changed. It would seem everything has it's season and our love came to an end. I waited but in vain, the man turned wayward. Betrayal is no easy thing to manage, but regardless I wish the man no ill. May he find peace and perhaps a woman that could love him better than I ever had. I now feel the sting of loneliness once more, but it has made me ever stronger.
