Long Day

My word... This...day was exceptionally long. And difficult... Long in general.

It started out... Well, I wouldn't say a normal every day thing. It started out as slightly troubling. This one man that looked like Raven, but older, stepped into the inn. He was going off about something like Raven was missing. Truth be told, I honestly didn't think too much of it. I mean, seeing as how the last time we spoke, it didn't go smoothly.

He eventually left. I later met this one girl named Margyth, who was looking...for something. I walked up to her and found that she needed my blade for an example for an assignment... Or homework was the correct term that she had used. This...is unfortunately when things had gotten strange.

This one man who had used Haradric came around. I initially thought that he was just a regular man from Harad as were my former family members. I had done both conversations to where I had to switch languages and explained how I knew such a language in the first place. Margyth left, having me to speak solely to the man now.

Bryn came into the Pony not long after. I knew that she was so distressed and still upset at the events that had happened. Things shifted once I had started to speak to her, concerned for her well-being. Though the man followed me, introducing himself as Hawk after this one man came by who introduced himself as Aallan. Now... The only Hawk I knew was from the past, one that was an enemy to my former family due to him being one of the ones that kidnapped me. Though this Hawk was Haradrim so I had nothing to worry about, right?

Well, I was wrong actually. Hawk dropped a bloodied handkerchief and a small shoe that looked like it would have belonged to a little girl. That man from earlier came back and identified Hawk as being the one who had kidnapped Raven. Truthfully, after the last time that I spoke with Raven, it didn't go well. Though seeing Bryn as upset as she did, I was upset as well. Us three as well as the man who was introduced as Ridderik lead Hawk to the back. Turned out that Raven was wanted dead due to something about his father. We heard the preposterous terms before Ridderick decided to hand himself in after whispering something to Bryn. Not knowing right away what it was, I initially wanted to use Ghost if they were outside of Bree. However, Bryn told us to follow Ridderik and Hawk subtly.

Aallan, Bryn, and I followed the two close to Beggar's Alley though stopped at a house. Aallan and I had gone in, Bryn staying outside of the house. We waited for Hawk to go into the room to formulate our plan. I was to go and distract Hawk while Aallan would help get Raven and Inga and whoever else out of there.

I used provoking at first, telling him that Umaarah was way better than him. I was taken back when he had told me of he was glad that I got away from him though. We started to fight, though I had him come towards me as Aallan needed the space to move. I took a blow to where air was knocked out of me though my mind had just focused on being as much of a distraction as I could for them to get out of there. I told him the truth and told him that he had no right to talk about Gold or his family that way. Eventually, all of them were out of the damned house. I reminded him of the "prisoners" and when he was distracted, I stabbed him close to the heart. I didn't finish him off, though, as I left with Aallan to take care of himself. He'll get what's coming in my opinion.

We had gone to Raven's with the help of Aallan's memory of the place. We spoke with Ridderik and Aallan went to go check on the others. I had put two and two together of what Ridderik said what happened to Raven. Now... Like I said, things didn't go well the last I spoke with Raven, but... He didn't deserve what was done at all and truthfully, I wished that I have killed that damn Hawk bastard when I had the chance. I suggested to Ridderik that if he was wary about him coming back, he should perhaps ask Gold to have guards around the area to make sure this wouldn't happen again. Afterwards, I gave my best wishes to the two in the bedroom as well as giving my farewell to Ridderik, asking him to not tell Gold that I suggested that they should have guards in the first place. I suspect that he was still upset at me and don't want anything to hear about me.

I'm now home with Ghost. I'll perhaps make myself some tea before I go to bed tonight. I am in desperate need of rest.
