Fishing with Eoryn and a Wedding

Poor Eoryn is worried. It seems a few of her friends haven't been around lately. I am sure it is nothing serious, but she misses them. Blodwynn, her boyfriend and another one or two from what I gather. I tried to calm Eoryn's fears and suggested that they might have gone on a fishing trip which didn't seem to help. Eoryn immediately wondered why they hadn't asked her to go along. Long story short, she suggest we go on a fishing trip. The Summer Festival is in full swing and she knew of a fishing competition just outside Bree, so we fetched our fishing gear and set out. I made sure I had a wide-brimmed hat with me, the sun was shining very brightly. We spent a very pleasant time fishing away, even catching a few fish for dinner. During our fishing expedition, Eoryn told me she was going to a wedding with Cymaru the next day and asked if I would join them. I didn't see why not, though it was a bit short notice to find a wedding present for the happy couple. But I managed! The couple to be wed were Drevorin and Milawyn. Never seen them before, but they seemed to be friends of Cymaru so must be good people. The ceremony itself was very simple, with just a few guests, perhaps ten at the most. It took some reminiscing to find any similarities between my own wedding and this one. No master of ceremonies, Drevorin and Milawyn performed the wedding themselves, speaking vows to each other and that was that. Afterwards we were invited to their home for drinks and a snack. At the house, something more noteworthy than the wedding itself happened. A woman, reeking of alcohol stumbled inside. She was clearly quite upset, her eyes red and her cheeks tearstained. Though her tongue was so tangled by drink it was impossible to understand much of what she was saying. After a few minutes confrontation Drevorin escorted her outside. I thought perhaps he might want a hand and went outside to help. They were standing at the gate of the property. Walking up to them I could not but help overhear the woman cry out something about a murdered child? I stopped in my tracks for a moment, then carried on walking towards them both. Hearing my footsteps, they both turned to look at me, Drevorin with a very suspicious expression on his face, the woman still in tears. Suddenly the woman turned and fled. Very odd. Drevorin asked me what I had heard, but what was I to answer? I merely said I had heard nothing and turned to go back inside. Cymaru and Eoryn were ready to leave by then, so we did that was that.
