With speed Atharan rides across the planes of Eregion. Though its beauty should be admired he has not the time to spare on such things.
He makes for Rivendell and wishes to arrive as soon as possible. There he will leave behind Aronath before he continues to journey towards Esteldin. After all his companion disserves a long and pleasant rest. Where better to give him that then Rivendell.
