Host of the Golden Wood
To aid in the defense of Rhovanion and Middle-earth in the name of the Galadhrim
|Main area of operations||
Dormant (not recruiting)
For ages past, Lothlorien - formerly Laurelindorenan and Lorinand - remained a sanctuary for elves, a safe haven that blossomed and prospered in the care and leadership of Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel. Now in the Third Age, the darkness of Sauron returns, and with the One Ring discovered, his never-ending malice threatens Middle-earth once more.
Soon, the forces of Dol Guldur will lay waste upon the lands of Rhovanion. Hence, before such a tragedy comes, the Lord and the Lady of the Wood sent out a call - to unite all elvenkind across Middle-earth against the forces of the Dark Lord Sauron. But as the threat on Rhovanion looms ever heavier, not even the Eldar alone may be enough. Another task was then given - to form an alliance with the Beornings of the Vales of Anduin, north of Lothlorien. Months later, a third and final quest was announced - to seek out the rest of the Free Peoples of Middle-earth to join the allegiance, for as the discord endures, it grows ever more undeniable that only by standing together shall this war be won... and this host succeed - the Host of the Golden Wood.
