"Be careful now Matt and look after him Fengdiel..he's everything I have left these days.." Lengdiel said when her cousin and son sat out for how long she did not know but if there was someone that would look after her son it would be her cousin. After all Lengdiel thought, she's a shieldmaiden, if needed she would make sure Matthias were safe. She stood and watched the two ride of down the path from the large house she had bought. "He's growing so fast.." Lengdiel said for herself
The day began as it used to for Lengdiel when she had seen her cousin and her son off, with work...lots of work, papers to be signed, letters to be written. She sat down in the office of the house and began to write the letters. Her mind kept keeping her busy as she wrote, thoughts on her son. He was growing up so fast she thought, too fast for her own liking but she could not do anything about it it was life and she knew it, she thought for herself that it would at some point maybe move back home to Rohan with her son but she thought for now she could not, after all she had bought a large house and with that house a little company came and now it was time to get this company to provide her and her son with food and clothes.
She kept writing and sorting paper for the rest of the day, when the evening came she made herself a bath and laid in it, feeling the warm water loosening her tense muscles up the longer she staid in the water. The night came and that was the time she always hated, alone in the large bed, but she was getting used to that now. She fell asleep but her sleep was not without nightmares, as she used to have when she was a little girl twisting and turning in the bed she woke up with a jolt, her dagger in her hand, her breath heavy as she looked around the bedroom, no one was there, outside a owl hooted and Lengdiel thought that was what had woken her up and not her dream. The dream itself..was about her closest in her family..
This went on through out the night with her waking up and falling asleep a few more times. During the early hours of the morning she woke again and decided enough is enough and went out and saddled her horse and took a ride through Breeland, hoping that her son were having a good time.
