Brablo's Diary - Entry 5

After a short written correspondence, a Mr. Reymund Appelby has travelled from Michel Delving to study at my library. It would seem that he has already benefited from the tutorage of a number of notable scholars; although young, he has some rather impressive credentials and recommendations to his name. I wrote to Mr. Appelby after reading a notice concerning a scholar in search of employment. Whilst making good use of my collection for his studies, he will also assist me in research, and maintaining the library. I have a number of texts dating back to the early centuries - the script of which I find difficult to decipher. Perhaps Mr. Appelby, with his younger eyes, would oblige to help me with them.

Whilst writing this, it would seem that Mr. Appelby have moved into one of the holes on Harrow Road. After but a few days in Barleywick, he has decided to arrange a more permanent arrangement. I am pleased to welcome him to the village, as a new resident!
