| Outward Appearance | Lady Saliko is a proud looking woman. With striking dark skin of her Haradrim heritage, and stark-black hair braided and dreaded that falls to the ends of her hips in precise manner, there is no mistaking from which she hails. Her eyes were once a warm castaneous hue, but have fallen to a cold glimmer, the amber light abandoning her common demeanor.
Only five-foot-five, her postured form dons rich fabric, ivory drapes upon her contrasting pigments. Wrapped upon her shoulders are rich furs, amplifying the proud stretch of her shoulders.
Her political affiliations go as far as what may aid her; otherwise, she does not care, and is apt to let hired personnel trouble over dealings of that matter, fairly content with merely being a face amoung the image of the House. Having wed into the Ibon bloodline, she gives little care of to the exact details of their dealings, only worrying over the outcomes of such things.
Saliko Kuron had been a person that couldn't wait to have children, to be wed and to see her family thrive; but not long into becoming Saliko Ibon, and watching their own fortune seem to plummet in comparison to what she had had before, fear struck her very heart. There was no possibility to think about raising her children under such circumstances, even if their riches were still plenty to properly raise a child; she became worrisome, paranoid, kept up at night as she listed names off in her mind that she feared could betray her and take what little was left for themselves. Sometimes, ever Zahaer's name rung in her mind; nightmares included the betrayal of his faithfulness.
All of these fears began pulling her apart from whom she had used to be, and how she could interact with those she was once close to. Saidda was tasked with the care of her own son for the most part, for her spells of troublesome worry even led to the neglect of his health.
Saliko speaks her native Haradrim tongue, and can communicate some in Westron; she prefers not to do this, however, as she finds the language ugly and inconvenient. When she does speak it, it is lazy and likely quite incorrect--she won't deny doing this on purpose, to just disrespect the language. |

Background
There was no heir to the Kuron fortunes that was proper enough of a leader, in the troubling times of oppression within the south; Saliko was not ready to take upon the leadership of the fortunes and continue the bloodline in the name, and with no brothers and only her younger sister by her side, none of whom could properly keep it and flourish their lasting honor, there was no choice but for the single Kuron child to wed and become a woman.
Abandoning her aging parents, Saliko took her heirlooms and as much as her fortune as she could, and wed herself to Zahaer Ibon; a man she trusted politically, and one who seemed to be yet corrupt of his responsibilities and privileges. As the world about them in Haradwaith seemed to crumble out of any possible control, the two and a handful of their personnel fled in a caravan, seeking safety and prosperity.
