I was glad to see many come to the after so many moons since the last. Apart from the dwarrows of Durin's Folk, we had The Order of the Divine Brew and The Blue Mountains Regiment, and a few non-affilliated ones too.
By all measure of expectances I was eager to get to business and hopefully see things be accomplished as we oncce did afore.
The days agenda, or most importantly, were based on reports from The East and communication with Dwarrows of Erebor and The Iron Hills. More and more dwarrows from the East; refugees displaced by war. The Road Without Ending was blocked by armies!
Furthermore, so did reports from our kind and menfolk suggest armies march north, larger groups also assemble to march on Dales and Erebor. The heart of dwarrow-kind is threatened!
More or less the same were my words at the Ting. I offered for people to give explanations or suggestions. For, I planned to travel east and to Erebor should it come to it. Many nods and agreements.
The Blue Mountains Regiment refused the suggestion entirely, and on the grounds that who would defend Ered Luin, and also for reasons as was explained, that they are personal guards to Lord Dwalin, and Dwalin commands whether they are allowed to or not.
I assured them that Durin's Folk would have, as before a contingency in Ered Luin to defend it, also that Durin's Folk had close relations with the elves of Duillond and Celondim should need be. The Regiment would not take that chance.
Thogen layed forth his Siege of Sarnúr suggestion, and said it would be on the road, so a siege ere we left The Vale would assure that any threat to the Blue Mountains would be extinguished. Without Dwalin present no agreement could be made, other than that Durin's Folk would lay siege to Sarnúr and go East.
Second topic was trade: I invited all dwarrows and kinships to Durin's Folk' Trade Banquet on the 22nd of October to which all welcomed the invitation, which promises to be the best place for trade and fortune west of the Misty Mountains. For myself, I hope many come!
The last topic was an invitation to the wedding of Dwalia and Krakthor, to which we all accepted and bade for more information once time allowed it.
When the Ting closed we had the Ceremony of the Lost in remembrance of those lost. We went our seperate ways afterwards, I and Augir went to his hall for some late night ale.
