Footsteps of the righteous

The crimson hooded figure sat on his perch over looking the vast region that had been known as the lone lands. Cynraede sat through the rain as it poured off of him, his dark eyes peering out over the land as he hunted his quarry. He looked over his shoulder, behind him lay the appropriately named the 'forsaken' inn. The locals seemed to have only heard rumors of the person traveling the road alone, a small bird following behind. He knew this could only be but one person, he had found her, and she was alive.

A breath of relief escaped his lungs as he peered back over, preparing for his next move. Continuing to observe the landscape as he spoke to himself quietly, watching the beasts of the land skitter about.

"She would have gone to the home of the Eglain, hopefully they would not have paid her any mind and noted her as just a traveler. Orc and goblin would know her scent, so she would steer far from them. She ventures to the elf land, to the east, which is not an easy journey on foot.."

Cynraede stood and brought himself to full stature, taking another deep breath as he looked out over the landscape before slowly making his way down the mountain. Bounding off to the fortress home of the native people, in desperate hopes of at least finding a piece of information as to here well being.

He ventured into the fortress, nodding to people he knew and had stayed with before. He knew if anyone would know if there were any new comers, it would be a friend he knew in the fortress who taught him how to shape wood for the strongest bows. He kept his head lowered, the crimson hood hiding his face as he made his way to the small market stalls. His dark eyes resting upon one figure whom he new many months ago, a dark grin creased his face he approached the person, letting his war braid dangle down past his shoulder.
