Constant Crisis, will Bree be brought to ruin?

Happenings throughout Bree are growing more and more dire every day it seems. Recently, there has been a rise in senseless killings and unexplained violence. Most of it, caused by random brigands.

In the past few months, there have been several deaths in Bree, and Combe. Many guards have been attacked, a few brigands killed, and a handful of innocent townsfolk. The noble House Hawthorn, has been on the receiving end of a good bit of problems. A relatively unknown bandit amongst the Brigands of Bree has been pinned on the recent stabbing of Savela Hawthorn (Who was home alone at the time) and believed to be a large part of a raid on Haynbury recently after.

At around the same time, there has been movement amongst the, thought to be extinct, Heirs of Ruin from Angmar. This leaves the champions of the land divided - do they defend from the brigands? Or prepare for a possible attack from the north?

The reasons for these attacks and movements are unclear, and there are many theories circulating. But one thing is for certain - Bree-land is not safe.
