You can meet friends in many places, especially when it's quite accidental... I was bored this day and we didn't have anything to do with my husband than sitting in front of the campfire in Stangard. What a waste of time, and it even started to rain. We ran to hide into the Auction House when we've got the message from our precious friends - Nadryna and Cynewulf - to sharpen our swords and follow them to the Limlight Gorge. We couldn't skip such an occassion! Oh that was tough! We've finished many trolls on our path and rescued few lost dwarves entangled by evil huorns. Once I was even close to die but thanks to Nadryna (who healed) and to Cynewulf (who gave me a lot of fortifying rations) I could survive. That was a great beginning of the day for a champion, a good day to fight.
Later we've been intercepted by a group heading far north and we teamed up. That was our first adventure with a cute little hobbit named Brunelle who led us to Eregion and then up north to the lost realm of Angmar. We were tired after one of the longest journeys but happy we could get in action again. Especially me. Jorundr usually goes alone for missions leaving me for myself. I know he wants to protect me and our family not exposing us to the threat but really I can manage on my own because I live this life since I was 9 and made the most important decision in my life. Truly, I would like him to be more available for his wife who lives in the saddle since ages... But anyway - I was excited to be finally useful and Brunelle introduced us to her good friend, an elf huntress Gaomee and we headed to the stronghold of Urugarth wipping the inhabitants completely...
Afterwards we had to find Creowyn who's gone missing. We asked few trespassers about her that luckly were about to know a lot of her. She's been seen in Ja-rannit, an huge snowy hill-land in Forochel. It's a dangerous place for a single lore-master so we had to check if she was alright. After a long search we've found her in the cold plain having a talk with a man unknown to me. We didn't ask any more questions about that little tete-a-tete in the middle of frosty nowhere and we forced her to go with us to Carn Dum...
It was a lot of distance between Ja-rannit and Carn Dum but we were happy Creowyn appeared to be safe and we managed to catch Sveriwyn as well! Carn Dum as an enormous fortress is not friendly to those who lack orientation in space - not because of labyrinth of corridors or something like that but because of many levels. In fact we were succesful in discovering the major part of it without any difficulties except the only one: Brunelle fell into the contaminated water twice. Sveriwyn tried to rescue her but without success so me and Gaomee got an idea of fishing Brunelle out. She was hobbit therefore she was light. We took our fishing rods and after getting few bunches of weeds we got Brunelle (dirty and happy) out.
That was such a great time for a champion - to go through the numbers of orcs and trolls slaying them to the left and right. I felt I was alive again!
