This is a Letter

It has been many days since last I wrote in this.

So much has happened. So much still remains to be done. I recieved summons, while in Imladris, from Haldir of Lórien. He called to me, hinting at the presence of outsiders from the Mines of Moria. Outsiders are not welcome, and could be removed from the land; so I hurried as best I could, back home.

Night has fallen, now. I hear so many things, at the current moment.

Birds, sleeping. Beasts, resting. There is no danger, here; but the Trolls in the Western regions. So quiet. So very quiet. It is times like this, that memories come to me. I can remember many things, good or for ill.

On this day; as I write, I am once again alone.

The wild is so comforting. I enjoy spending time, there....here. It releases all ill thoughts from my mind. I am at ease here. Meditation is easier, and I am in no danger from anything. The Trollshaws, they are safer in recent days. But I cannot help but wonder, if that will change so soon.

One of the younger residents of Imladris, noted me today; near the camp.

I have returned.

A month, or so, in Human terms, I have been in the wild. Again, I feel compelled to wander; like my father afore me. It is becomming a troublesome issue, but not without reason.

The night afore was rather fun and unexpected!

I had recieved word from Lord Elrond, as did many others; that he wished for a gathering, to reunite old friendships. Many were told, and many came! He assures us that the 'event', shall take place around every fortnight; and I look forward to the next time.

This is a LetterJanuary 17th, by the reckoning of Elrond's scholars. I remain still in Imladris. The night came and went swiftly, and I rested upon the pavilion. Elwen, the mistress of Lore, spoke with me often through the star cycles. About what is coming in the darkness. What Lord Elrond has seen. I remained unwavered, however; and assured her that our time, though drawing to a close, would not end yet.

Today has been a rather eventful day.

I started off by travelling to Imladris. I had to atone for some things related to Malainel. I have....how do the Humans say it; "passed her by". I feel at peace, now; and perhaps I can love once more.

I have made a decision, on how to pass my time.

Since Malibor's return to the fold, a move that I am still unsure about; he is still family, yet his temper is to be tested. I have returned to the art of painting and drawing.
