 | Today has been a rather eventful day. I started off by travelling to Imladris. I had to atone for some things related to Malainel. I have....how do the Humans say it; "passed her by". I feel at peace, now; and perhaps I can love once more. There was something else. I recieved a letter from a rather linguistic Hobbit, asking my assistance. She was also in Imladris (a scholar of sorts), and wished to learn the tongue of the Elves. Understandably, I agree to assist. She was very knowledgeable, and quick to learn. Some trouble pronouncing some of the words, but we passed that problem quickly. I also got a chance to finish a chapter within the book I have not been able to read since Malainel's passing. The next one looks promising. Alas, I knew little on how tales and lays were exciting to read! Another event was the meeting of Araweniel. I suspect her to know of Gwenbur, Telfaras' wife. They have the same...air...about them. She was rather friendly, but had to leave quickly. The day looms. I had better return to my reading. |
