The lights had appeared in the night sky, they glistened upon stone, rock, ice and snow; the tiniest speckled reflection of light beneath a blanket of shimmering colour. The air was more than bitter and whistled its way through the boughs of the forest in which a couple strode through silently. Their steps were slow and cumbersome, upon their feet were thatched frames to ease their footing and spread their weight. They spoke in hushed murmurs as they reached a wide and out-stretched plateau, thick with snow. A frozen lake lay beneath it, freshly covered with the latest of the snowfall.

Rhoana awoke to a peaceful dawn. The sound of a gentle breeze hummed its way through the blades of grass and a blanket of blue sky and clouds passed over-head. She found herself amongst brush and stone and a sudden, swift reminder of her predicament came to the fore through throbbing pain. She took to her feet, the passing of hours unknown as she hurriedly made her way across the fields.

I found that man, Olver. It was a usual bustling night and I took my regular mug of mead. I looked about the patrons, but in truth...I knew not what or who I was looking for, with regards to appearance. I could only hope Barliman would know at the mention of name. I swiftly became lost in thought, my mind seems to quickly slip off track, and it worries me. Conversing becomes difficult and…I forget all too easily…and I digress! Even now!
