Seeking Answers in Bree

The trail into the hills brought answers, yet none of them brought peace. What first appeared to be a simple robbery has proven something far more troubling: a marked band of raiders struck with purpose, seizing a crate entrusted to Atgar by Durin’s Folk Trading Company and scattering those unfortunate enough to stand in their way.

With the mystery deepening and the stolen goods still missing, Atgar now turns his steps toward Bree. If these brigands move along the roads and trade routes of the land, then someone in Bree must know of them, whether through honest duty, loose talk over ale, or dealings best kept from the light.

Gathering any willing companions, Atgar means to seek answers wherever they may be found. From the Town Hall and the watchmen who keep order, to merchants and travelers in the marketplace, to the common rooms of the inns and the darker alleys beyond, no corner of Bree will be left unexplored.

Somewhere in the town lies the next clue: the meaning of the wheel crossed by daggers, the identity of those who bear it, and perhaps the first trail toward reclaiming the stolen crate.
