Gently closing the door to my room, I unclasped my cloak, laying it over the back of the chair next desk and window. Taking a brief look outside, I beheld a fair moonlit night over the vale. Lights glistened in the windows of the houses and towers, and along the pathways, making all seem most welcoming as if a blanket of peace had descended.

Having changed from travel garb and refreshed myself, I set out to seek word of the whereabouts of the Lady Danel. In a matter of moments from stepping outside the Last Homely House, I chanced upon a group of musicians playing most enlivening music.

Determined to learn as much as she can from the wise of Rivendell, and continue study with her mentor, the Nolde Danel, in particular, Aearlinn rides for the third time into the Vale. On this occassion there is no feeling of hesitation.

On a day when Aearlinn felt a little overwhelmed by the task ahead of her, she and her eagle friend, Falwing, chanced upon one of the mighiest of all birds - the Great Eagle, Landroval. A good night's rest could be taken under his watchful eyes, and a lightened heart result from his words of wisdom.

Starlit Patrol

On the turn of the year to the light, Aearandir and Aearlinn ride a familiar patrol route to the north of Thamas Lorn. All is quiet...all is still under the stars of Elbereth. But both edhil know that will change for those of the Mithdirith in coming days ...

...he took my hands, they were warm and he held them steadfast like it was for the last time.
His eyes never looked so clear and deep blue before,  and his face looked so soft under this red sky that colored the water red behind us... The tree branches made a soothing sound that built up a tension in the air. I felt slightly uncomfortable and a little nervous...
