I slipped back into town briefly for a few supplies, intending to take them back to the camp with me. But as chance would have it, I ran into a young lady and struck up a conversation. She suggested that her friends might have work fitting for me, and the next thing I knew, I was surrounded by some of the kindest and most gracious folk I'd ever come across. Is this the glimpse of hope that Aldwyn encouraged me to be on the lookout for?
