Failandos was one from noble Noldor of the city-kingdom Nargothrond, ruled by Finrod. During his childhood he studied History of the Eldar and also geography of Beleriand lands. He spent mostly time with mother who teached him music of the harp. His father and older brother were mostly traveling with Finrod in his adventures. When in "Battle of Sudden Flame" he lost a father and few years after elves of Minas Tirith arrived to Nargothrond, Edrahil his older brother prepared him to be a warden. Eight years later his brother took a dangerous mission with Finrod and few others from which they never came back. Failandos broken inside took an Oath to stay in Middle-earth as long as Sauron who was responssible for his wounds will be defeated.

In the Battle of Tumhalad he and few more survivors fled to Doriath. Glaurung burned Nargothrond and many elves including his mother were taken to Angband. In Doriath he found save place but also offered himself like most others survivors for Thingolo to protect Doriath. But in deep of his heart he still loved Nargothrond and couldnt forget what was happend with his family and kings. When Thingol sent his captain Mablung with most brave wardens of Doriath to find Morwen, Failandos joined them as he was the one from last wardens of Nargothrond and he knew lands arround Doriath very well. But when they stayed at Amon Ethir, Glaurung came out and used his fear and magic. Great mist came between all riders so all got lost. Later Failandos and 2 more wardens found Mablung and Nienor. Near Doriath they fell in ambush by band of orcs which they couldnt win against elven warriors. When all orcs were dead, Nienor was lost as he ran where noone could find her.

After few years Failandos and few others from Doriath were sent to Balar to the place where Cirdan king of Falathrim dwell after when they all left ruins of Eglarest and brithombar ruined by servants of Morgoth. Thingol wanted keep informed Cirdan about things which were happend and could in the future. Failandos met there young Gil-galad, also in times of war he met his first love. One from noble teleri ladies. He spent with élaeriel almost every day. When things went wrong and Beleriand was almost destroyed, to balar came many exilles from Doriath and Gondolin. He heard that dwarves from Nogrod have killed Thingol king of Doriath. Also he heard about treason of Maeglin at Gondolin. But it was not the end of the problems as when Earendil sailed into the west to find a help from Valar, Maedhros son of Feanor came with his army to take back Silmaril from princess of Doriath. Another kinslaying took a place.

Failandos from that time always coursed all of these who followed sons of Feanor. When Valar came with army of Valinor, survivors from Balar joined a most great battle against Morgoth. All elves united against same one enemy, won last battle for Beleriand. But Sauron was not defeated and he escaped. After war of Wrath his mother with most other prisoners sailed to valinor. Failandos stayed to fulfill his oath and also to find his beloved lady who was lost.

During second Age Failandos served Gil-galad in Lindon. He fought also in battle of the Last Alliance against Sauron. But when his king died and free people triumphed, he thought his oath met end and what only left for him was to find his lost beloved. Also he gave oath to Captain of Gondor who saved his life in Battle of the Last Alliance. At Third Age he followed Galadriel as she was the only one who was still alive from Finrod and Orodreth family. He followed her new Queen to Edhellond where he found at last his beloved from Balar.That time on the world came their first and onlyone child Orwenna. In Orwenna her mother put whole her strenght and beauty which she had that for herself she left nothing and weakness came into her spirit. Few months after birth élaeriel died and Failandos left daughter for Falathirm friends as Orwenna was too young for travel.

Failandos left Edhellond together with host of Galadriel and Celeborn and they came back to Lothlorien where he met Miluiwen, a minstrel of Bar-en-Vanimar. She introduced him to Tur Galendil and as a warden of Lothlorien he joined Vanimar. Few years later his daughter Orwenna arrived to Lindon and she joined Bar-en-Vanimar as well. With new allies which most were from Beleriand Failandos prepares himself for a war against Dol Guldur and Mordor. His Oath is still not fulfilled. During this whole time which he spent in Golden Wood he tryed protect Lothlorien as best as he can and offten he assist Haldir the great warden of Lorien. Once he had a dream about some lady which he never met before and vision was not clear. In the Gardens of Galadriel, Lady of the Light helpt him by using her mirror. Someone who lived in Lorien from long time was destined for him as he is destined for that person.

During first days of assault on Dol Guldur he met Morgraen of Lorien for which gave own name "Ninquiriel" (Quenya: "White Garland") as she was whole in white and on her head was circlet of white lillies. Words of Galadriel about destiny spoke again inside of him. When he became a one from Cauns of Vanimar, he got a chance to join to one from few "Orders" which were made by other Cauns and Tur. Instead joining another "Order" he made own based on Nargothrong kingdom "Order of Aeglos" or called also sometimes "Order of the White Flower" which can allow only Wardens to be a part of it. But Failandoss happiness passed faster than he tought. Neithane a captain of Gondor and noble lord from family of same captain who saved in Second Age Failandos life, arrived to Imladris to ask Noldor to fulfil his oath.

Failandos decided help Neithane with saving captain's beloved from Dol Guldur prisons. From that time his life changed and love and happiness fell into darkness. Nightmares were hunting Failandos and Morgraen love was passing away. And one day before Failanos entered Mirkwood, he noticed that Morgraen changed and left him without word. In Dol Guldur together with Neithane and dwarven friends with couple Malledhrim rescued prisoners from Dungeons and Neithane's beloved. But price was high for Failandos and he was captured and taken to the deeps of Dol Guldur. And none could help him as darkness covered secret deeps. From there he was taken to another stronghold of Evil to the Northern Mirkwood in secret mountains where dark magic slowly wanted change him into one from Fell-spirits which could be used as powerfull tool of Khamul one from the Nazguls.

But after 2 weeks in prison a new hope rised and Tharundil's army arrived to save his captured kin folk. Failanods was taken to Tharundil's kingdom. There he recorvered his strenght of body and spirit. Almost one and half month he was a guest in palace before he left. There he understood that wandering is the only thing which left for him as everyone who is near him dies or is leaving. Death was walking with him and he chosed path similar to Dunedain Rangers which traveling alone and every day in the north or on the south of Middle-earth they fight with evil servants and protecting lands from shadow until death will take them. Failandos carry a heavy burden in his heart and he knows that his days in Middle-earth are coming slowly to the end.

At present time, Failandos serves as a spearman and mariner on Cirdan's ships which sails arround Western Isles in the Sea northwest of Middle-earth. His heart misses Beleriand and his beloved kingdom of Nargothrond. That is why he trys to stay closer Sea which covers ancient lands.  Taking his lessons from such great battles that changed the face of Arda, such as Nirnaeth Arnoediad, Tumhalad, War of Wrath, or the War of the Last Alliance, Failandos know what it means to " face a fear and darkness, and hold the line ". He feels that Middle-earth will face once again another great battle which will decide about his fate, and about fate of all Free People.  However he feels also deep inside that Sea calls him to sail back ... to home ... to Eldamar.
