Early Years

Rose was born in Rohan, and her parents picked up and moved to Bree when she was about a year old. She grew up in a cottage in Combe and had a pretty happy childhood. She was often seen running around with her hound, or exploring up near the gate to Bree, but never venturing too far. When she was six, she was blessed with a baby sister. Three more sisters followed, and when she had reached the age of sixteen, her mother had fallen very ill. Thus ended Rose's happy life, and she took up the responsibility of taking care of her siblings.

Teenage Years

Becoming the mother figure to her sisters when she was sixteen years of age; aged ten, eight, seven and four, she didn't have much time to do things a normal young adult would do. She spent most of her time teaching them lessons and preparing meals, as well as earning coin here and there when she could. Her father was always around, making sure she did not have to do everything by herself, but he was deeply grieved by his wife's impending death. She took care of her family most of her life while her mother slowly got better.

Adult Life

Rose remained living in Bree with two of her sisters, Fauna and Lily, while her father and mother moved to Trestlebridge with the youngest two. She started working at the Pony as a barmaidl. She met several of her close friends there and even joined a company, and then her future husband, a Dunlending, literally picked her up after she got off one night. Rose married him and she went with him to Dunland, where they had two daughters.
