Captain's Quick Report: The Hope. RedHopeChiliPeppers and many many more...
Returning to the Bree-land in our parts of the world, the fine musicians of 'The Hope' could be seen performing once more upon the stage that rests near the Bree Festival Grounds. With their red attire and other fine clothes they appeared to have given a splendid account of themselves just as the last time, and many in the crowds were those whom had been present before.
Sadly my attention was divided and for some large part of the proceedings I did not catch much of the actual songs and singing myself... a lack of sleep had taken me ill these last days, and so I still needed to rest where I could. Though I did keep well enough to sketch upon several parchments what I could of the atmosphere with the band and audience before me -- hopefully they may give to you, Master Reader, some semblance of the spirit of performance The Hope brought this day, and to the many Free Peoples that made up the audience; there in presence for the love of music, an outdoor venue, and the shared joy for the band before them and the songs sung. I will surely have to plan better to be in rude health the next time word of their next musical performance comes to town, hoho!
There is talk that within a few days, popular Spring Festival celebrations will begin across Middle-Earth as rumoured in a few places here and there. If so, there will be much to do indeed! Over in the fine Bramblebury Gazette and on local event listings around town, upcoming dates include the various Bird and Baby Yard Party gatherings where special guests will take to entertaining the audience, some sort of 'Odd Socks' gathering, the OAKS with the Polnolunie musicians. Early word also goes that a Summer Poetry Competition will be held later this Month. As the border between the Spring and Summer seasons blur ever closer, no doubt many more events will be organized and announced closer to when they occur!

(( Disclaimer: Hello folks, I'd like to caution you that taking a look at the embedded slideshow coming up below will likely not go too well if your in a hurry, and hoping to just get a 'general gander' at what the event was like. The 'Overview Collection' above is more suited for that!
Viewing the album embedded below is more geared for those folks looking to get a /slightly/ more play-by-play spirit of how things unfolded. In fact, I only recommend having a browse through if for some reason, you have an urge to well... just look at a lot and lot of screenshots -- many more of the shot angles/perspectives being repeated in other screenshots but at different times during the event, etc! Thanks for reading. ))
