Captain's Quick Report: The White Flames plays Zappa

Back here with a sturdy quill and parchment on hand, the glowing feeling of warmth and joy from the White Flames concert, just hours ago atop the Bree Fireworks Grounds, still flows through this old Captain's heart, despite the rain quickening as I made my way back to the office.

While a more detailed and full report shall follow sometime in the future from my perspective on this event, here I present a brief summary, including several preliminary sketches, drawings, and paintings, to submit to the Grey Repository, something to add towards the Archives within the immediate bounds of the event having ended so recently, just mere hours ago.

But what a well-deserved congratulations these White Flames folks deserve!  Nearly over two hours long into the day (and must have been the night at some point, so it seemed), these musicians from the Order of the White Flame, along with some guest musicians such as Master Silon and Missus Toadflax, played an outstanding collection of tunes that certainly was unique to Bree-town, I'll reckon!  Let alone the rest of Middle-Earth!  Hoho!

Some would teeter on the brink of feet-tapping, and merry tunes, though admittedly not quite as lively as any of the actual hobbit-only bands that often play well-renowned throughout the Shire; other songs and melodies would be of a more slow, and thoughtful tale to the ears, leading me to thoughts of gentle contemplation and musing.  Why, at some point, maybe once or twice, I must have fell into a daze so deeply that I had felt the world before me had disappeared, and I had entered another one for some time!  Such is the power in music and song, perhaps more so the stronger than any heated battle with Orcs, Goblins or Brigands for that matter!

Many thanks to Missus Trincia and her kin for bringing such an event to so many folk in Bree-town this day.  I shall end here with an invitation for you to peruse several draft sketches, drawings, and paintings, from my memory of this event, that I have submitted to the Grey Repository, to go alongside this early submission for the Archives.
