Tom Redfern ain't the most learned man to come out of Archet, nor is he any warrior. When his home and job was burned out from under him, he was happy enough coming to Arrowhaven to watch over some of the holdings there...and trim the verge occasionally. He's taken to writing down what he sees on his rounds as means of practicing his letters, for what man would not better himself given the chance?
