Background
He's a first age character magician and loremaster who battles the Unlife in his own particular way. Thaumatur has lived many 100's of lives down the ages (because of an unfortunate meeting with a time drake - which I won't go into here) and presently he is and elf runekeeper fighting Unlife on Middle Earth - Sauron being its latest guise.
