Outward Appearance | Although age is taking its toll, Beornard still has the look of a Man who can defend himself and others at need. Just under six foot in height, he is broad of shoulder and strong of arm. He still has thick white hair, which he wears comparatively short, as a personal preference. His grey beard is also little more than stubble. Keen blue eyes under hoary brows, show a willingness to be friendly to others, but once crossed or threatened, he is not a man to back down or forgive, even now. He can barely read, and cannot write. He only speaks Rohanese. |

Background
Born in the town of Forlaw, Beornhard had a common enough upbringing. His family were mostly Farmers, working the oft hard and cold soil into something that could provide sustenance for Men and Beasts. His family made do well enough, but were certainly not wealthy.
His dream was to be very good at what he did, to provide a decent life for kin and any friends that needed his aid. He was to ride with Rohan's warriors a few times, and was notable for his strength, perseverance and aim. Many an enemy fell under his bow or spear. But he was not someone who liked taking orders, rather trusted to his own experience. So he always returned to working the land he loved, given chance. He wed quite young, a girl from Edoras. They had a daughter together. And for some years he remained near Edoras, working his Father-in-Law's property. However, although the then Old Man got along well with him, his brother-in-law was envious, and sought to drive his small family away. Recieving news his own parents in Forlaw were ailing, he took his wife and daughter back to his childhood home.
His wife did not like the cold, though his sisters and brothers made her feel welcome, and took his daughter into their hearts, once his mother passed, he sought somewhere warmer, in a lower part of the land.
He served in Stanwick for a year. Neither he nor his family liked the place, and he found himself in many a fight protecting what was his. He moved a final time to Harwick, and there he purchased a smallholding and made his life.
Though years have past, his wife dying quite early on, his daughter later setting off to explore Edoras of her childhood, he remained as a farmer in Harwick until very recently.
