Feathorfin is a tall Noldo with long dark, shining hair. 

He has deep black eyes which probably feel piercing. His sharp nose gives an impression of a stern character. Absolutely hard to convince. It looks like he will not agree with you anytime soon.

He may come across you as a grim figure, silent and overshadowing. That is how he feels, too. His long years and bitter background gives him a strong presence. Yet, anyone who has the courage to come  close to him may also feel that there is still hope in his heart and also kindness. He is like the Sun covered by heavy stormclouds. On the surface you are met with the storm but once the storm is over, a gentle Sun brings life to the well-watered dewlands.
