Background
Laingalad was born in Aman from Vanya mother and Noldo father. He followed his father to Middle Earth with the host of Finrod. He soon came to regret it, as his gentle disposition made adapting to life in war-torn Beleriand difficult. Once settled in Nargothrond, he sought to learn ways with which alleviate his unrest and it was at this time that he found his calling: his love for nurturing and caring for the flora of this new world, singing to saplings and watch them grow into tall and strong trees and consequently their use in healing the hurts of his fellow Eldar as well. This turned his regret into purpose; he vowed to help others live in this new world, purpose reinforced after the sack of Nargothrond, seeking refuge at Sirion where many others tried to rebuild a life after much despair.
Even now he still holds true to his vow, spending his days in Lorien in service of Lady Galadriel
