A unique blend of Nandorin and Noldorin features, Nautiel stands at an average six feet with a strong but lithe build, reminiscent of a tree. From her father she received her pale skin and raven-dark, thick hair, which is often messy with strands hanging slightly in front of her eyes, though, not from lack of care or grooming. From her mother she inherited eyes the color of new, spring leaves; eyes that would later save her life.

Upon closer inspection, it can be noted that she has recently taken to constantly wearing a simple crystal on a leather cord around her neck - a precious gift from Durandis - and wears a silver ring set with green gems on her thumb - a gift for a gift from Blovurr, and foraging knife with a gently curving blade and a simple horn handle carved and set with two plain river-pebbles - one black and one greenish-blue - a gift from Tarinnas.

Spend any amount of time in her company and one will notice that she will not speak, even when spoken to. Not a single sound escapes her lips, not even when laughing or breathing.

 She is, however, very expressive with her face and body language when she wants to be. For those familiar with it, she will respond and 'speak' using a form of woodelven sign language.

In short, if she wants to communicate, she will try her hardest to. However, she does not usually make the first move to open 'conversation' with another person unless she knows them well enough or knows that they understand her signing.

In times of rest, she can be gentle and even timid, occasionally throwing out witty puns jokes, or 'roasts' for those she feels safe enough to do so around. But, given the right situation, she can be driven to outright brutality in a fight that is somewhat disturbing to see. There is always a sense of tragedy and "wrongness" about her. One might question her understanding of anything at all when in fact, she understands most everything that goes on around her.
