| Outward Appearance | At first glance, Morvyth Rowan is short even among women of Bree, though not slender. Her hands are dainty and quick, an asset in her trade as a barber, and kept meticulously clean. When off work, a thick veil of dark hair tumbles down her shoulders, sometimes falling to obscure part of her face. She smiles readily, with dimpled cheeks and honey-brown eyes glimmering with mirth; her easy laugh and soft, lilting voice belie the sometimes gruesome nature of her craft. |

Background
The young barber-surgeon is a minor enigma in Bree. When she first walked through the south gate years ago, she had few possessions and no family to her name, only an adoptive uncle who took her in until she could afford a room of her own. Now she lives alone, unmarried, yet still young enough that her solitude is no scandal. While her lifestyle is far from lavish, her meticulously cleaned, gleaming tools and the garments she wears off-duty betray a fondness for the finer things in life.
Aside from the odd jobs of her early years in town, Morvyth Rowan has made a living through her craft alone. Her ebullient manner and easy smile have won her regular clients among Men and Little Folk alike. She is loath to turn anyone away.
Among the twisting alleys and tenements of Bree-town, it is rumored that she even cleans her shears and needles for the rough, dangerous men of the South.
