Becoming a Scholar
Memory has never come easily for Glinnel. While some of their kind might remember ages past, Glinnel found from a young age that remembering what happened merely yesterday could prove difficult. It did not help that they were not always very good at paying attention. The solution that Glinnel found was journals, countless journals. Each noteworthy comment or event was scribed into a journal, and in this way Glinnel was forced to focus and aided to remember.
Many years passed this way, until, looking upon what had become a library of small happenings and conversations, Glinnel decided to take the practice up a notch. They began studying and recording the histories and goings-on of other people, and searched out tutors of the scholarly arts. They continue to pursue this path to this day.
