Born and raised in Aldburg, Cwenn was the second child and first daughter born to her parents. She had a happy childhood and a friendly sibling rivary with her brother. She was just as good with a sword as he was, and just as good at horse-riding as he was. Cwenn was never one to do the chores that she was supposed to do, and was often seen around Aldburg, chasing after the older boys and doing her best to keep up, with her blonde hair braided and flying behind her.

She grew up to be very capable with a sword and upon her sixteenth birthday, was given a war steed by her father from the same mare that had born her brother's a few years before. Cwenn left Aldburg and left Rohan in the following years, traveling and making coin as a sellsword. Her brother stayed behind with her parents. After a few years she did return home, but Cwenn was banished from Aldburg when she killed a commander for reasons she would not disclose. Instead of remaining in Rohan or going to another town, Cwenn simply left the Riddermark entirely but does occasionally return to meet with her family in Edoras.
