Seranys Wensbury is the youngest of the Wensbury family of hobbits who are exporters of pipe weed. Seranys always wanted to be an adventurer but he was always forced to work for the family business until Felip Wensbury, his father, wanted to expand the business. Seranys offered to work as a travelling saleman for the company which would be his cover for being an adventurer.

He really doesn't know anything about sales and even less about pipe weed so he tends to make it up as he goes along as he has a knack for convincing people he knows what he is talking about. He manages to keep up this charade by sending one or two new customers his fathers way every month. This allows him to keep wandering the land and provides him with just enough income to stay at local inns every evening along with the occasional tipple of cider.

Seranys has been on this rather strange but exciting adventure for a while now and is excited to see what Middle Earth has to offer him in the future.
