Dolgrasi was born one hundred and fifty eight years ago as the second eldest child to Brynhild and Balder in the White Mountains. Dolgbrasi's family were fairly successful merchants in the White Mountains but seldom traveled outside of their homeland. During his childhood Dolgbrasi would love to hear travelers who would do business with his family, talk about their adventures throughout Middle Earth. Dolgbrasi got along fairly well with his brothers Bard and Ragnar, and his sister Freydis. Dolgbrasi out of all of his siblings took the greatest interest in his parents merchant careers and the idea of striking it rich. While growing up Dolgbrasi's uncle Floki, who worked primarily as a hunter, would often take him on hunting trips for deer or boar during his childhood. Which soon became a hobby for Dolgbrasi up into his adult years. Eventually when Dolgbrasi became a young adult, his family began to suffer financially due to the wars going on throughout the world. Dolgbrasi then decided he'd become a traveling merchant to reach more territory in the hope of gaining more money for his family. Though skeptical of non-dwarven folk, his parents felt it would be the most logical course of action to take. So they helped save up money for Dolgbrasi to travel. He then decided he would use his hobby of hunting to helo with his career as a merchant. He decided he would sell the meat and furs of the animals he hunted throughout Middle Earth, along with crafts his siblings Bard and Freydis made, since the duo became wood carvers. His younger brother Ragnar went on to become a cook. Dolgbrasi once gathering his supplies began to travel through Middle Earth as a traveling merchant. Dolgbrasi made his first visit to the Shire and his animal furs, meats, and crafts sold incredibly well, which surprised him. He then hunted some more animals from the Shire and stocked up on goods the Shire had, then he made his way towards Bree and did even better there.
