Background
He was born in Esteldin in 2961 T.A., 57 years ago.
His name means "man of the East" in Sindarin and is tied to a dream that his mother had before he was born, where she saw that her son would have traveled extensively in the east of Middle-earth.
And so it was.
Accustomed to living in the wild, Rhunendir traveled a lot throughout the Middle Earth, visiting the farthest reaches of the lands of the Easterlings. He saw the Sea of Rhun and the Orocarni, the Red Mountains.
Eager to know the history of his ancestors, distant descendants of Numenoreans, he visited the great ruins that rise around Lake Evendim and in the rest of the ancient kingdom of Arnor, exploring also the ancient great tombs of Barrow-downs.
During his travels he learned old stories and legends, that he loves to tell to the travelers met during his travels.
In recent years, concerned about the evil that is growing in the East, he returned to Esteldin. Exploring the boundaries in the north to Angmar, he has realized how Evil is growing again in those dark lands.
