Background
Born in Dale, he grew up as any normal boy in the kingdom. At the age of 16, he answered conscription and served for long years. Seeing battle many an occasion against Orcs of Gundabad or Easterlings. The militia he served in, served primarely as canon fodder and he has seen some things already in his young life.
This doesn't keep him away from honing his combat skills, but he likes to study as well. History is his closest friend and he even dares say that of his peers in Dale, he knows the most about lore and stories.
When the Dwarves of Erebor reclaimed rule over Thorin's Halls after the Dourhand uprising, some of Dale volunteered to go and help the Dwarves maintaining trade routes and escorts of merchants. And since Arnor has fascinated him since he read tales of it as a boy, it was an easy choice to venture west.
If he's not escorting, messaging... he's wandering in the wilds looking for history, ruins and more or sitting in one of the taverns of Men, to listen to interesting tales, even though he dislikes the drunkards that are inevitably present...
