Born a millennia into the Second Age, Eldoriian is an Elf of the Laiquendi tribe.  He was born in Ossiriand and lived in the south region until the War of the Last Alliance.  Some elves had ignored the summons of Gil-galad during the war of Elves and Sauron.  However, his family could not refuse again in the Last Alliance.  Both parents were killed in the Battle of Dagorlad.  However, Eldoriian had stayed back in Lindon, choosing still to not join the army and instead defend the Land of Seven Rivers.

Into the Third Age, Laiquendi ancestry was all but forgotten in Lindon.  So was Eldoriian, and he preferred it that way.  He lived in the wilderness for a great time, forgetting the world of men and enjoying the wild alone.  The fall of Dúnedain came and went, yet Eldoriian stayed in his forest of solitude. 

Finally after over three millennia and more than half his life hiding from unknown fears, Eldoriian returned to the Grey Haven and prepared for an adventure.  He wanted to see the world of Endore that his family died for and that all of good and evil faught over.   Having no more excitement than the accidental stumble into a bear's den, Eldoriian decided to look for a new purpose.  He quickly found he loved to read and discover history as he rebuilt the world of past ages in his mind.  Still, he would forever miss that place he always called home...
