Background
Tholbrin Stoutbelt, son of Roglin, of Durin's Folk from the Iron Hills.
He was born in the year 2911 of the Third Age in the dwarf kingdom of the Iron Hills. His grandfather Swornir was the son of Skardin, who was a kinsman and counselor of Grór, son of Dáin I, who founded the dwarven kingdom in the Iron Hills after he had left the Ered Mithrin with his kin.Tholbrin left the Iron Hills one year before he reached battle-readiness and travelled to the Ered Luin together with his older cousin Bolbrin to visit his kinsmen in Thorin's Hall and to study the dwarven - and elven ruins and writings in this region.
