Alula is a small hobbit woman, stout and curvy as most of them are. Her hair is bright ginger and curly, and falls to her shoulders. Her pale skin is dotted with freckles, and her bright blue eyes gleam with the wonder of the world around her. She is always wearing a dress of her own making, and hardly ever the same one, usually of floral prints and bright colors, with a more toned down bodice to pull the look together. She also carries a backpack full of knick knacks and trinkets that she finds, as well as a few bits of parchment to write on should anything exciting happen, or to draw designs on should she be struck by inspiration.

Alula has had a fairly simple life. She was born and raised in the Shire, where as it's inhabitants know, not much happens. Something in her has always desired to see more of the world, but for the most part, she was content to stay where she was. Her greatest accomplishment was running her own little dress shop out of her home, where she made beautiful but casual clothes for the other hobbit ladies around town. It was everything she'd ever hoped for, except that she was still in the Shire, still in the place she'd always been.
The furthest she's ventured is Bree, and though she wants to travel even further, she still imagines that she'll return to the Shire once her adventuring days are over, content in the fact that she left it's bounds for a little while.
