The Rangers amassed in Tinnudir. Aranarion stood beside Celegon, Calenglad, and Daerdan as they spoke of the plans. They knew well of the spy now, creeping along the edges of the shore at night. And they were discrete in planning. They would ride to Tham Andalath, under cover of darkness and destroy the joined Orc camp from all sides. Calenglad sent Daerdan in his stead, to lead the second group, while Aranarion led the first. They avoided the roads, and snuck along wooded thickets. They reached Tham Andalath and the attack began. They destroyed the orc clans with ferocity, including the large White Hand orcs they had not seen before. Aranarion and Tyrthorn were particularly effective, felling the captains one by one, while Duilindil ensured the safety of young Laegol. Tiranunn worked to help clear the path towards the second group and secure a victory for the Dunedain. As they rested and discussed what they learned, they recalled that the orcs called the name Sharku, and Saruman. The Rangers mulled over what this meant for their home, but they had little time to think, for Halbarad and came calling from outside of Tham Andalath, requesting their aid....
