A immaculately penned notice on fine parchment carefully pinned to the noticeboard in Imladris, and unusually, there are two columns: the information given is penned in both Sindarin and Westron, side by side. It is placed low on the board as to be visible to Dwarves and Hobbits, and any children of the Free Peoples who are learned and aged enough to read. Another copy as immaculately penned as the first is pinned at the eye-level of most adult Elves and Humans.

The wait has been long but we are pleased to announce that the Jewelsmith's Hall in Imlad Gelair has finally reopened. By leave of Lord Elrond the complete archive of materials saved from Ost-in-Edhil resides here, and reproductions have been carefully crafted to bring this lost lore to those who wish to learn.

Additional collections include salvaged and restored lore of Gondolin, Nargothrond, and Doriath, oral histories of the Laiquendi and the Dunedain, ephemeral personal stories and documents ranging from journals to family histories and songbooks, cookbooks, poetry, and personal correspondence. We have begun keeping a growing selection of dwarf-lore, mostly family trees and histories of the Dwarves of Khazad-dum. 

We are open to all the Free Peoples of Middle-earth: Knowledge is meant for all, and if you are welcome in the Vale of Imladris, you are welcome in Tham Angol.

Once a craft and meeting hall for the refugees of Eregion, the building remains under the official watch of Hir Silwe Mirdan, Master Smith of Imlad Gelair, who maintains his craft here. The contents of the building are the life work and responsibliity of Isilime Siliel, Archivist and Keeper of Tham Angol. Though it is now a library, this is a place of learning and teaching, and as such the craft facilities have as well been restored to their working condition and are available for use.
