Nothing could change the white scenery and especially not in a night. The group made a small, fireless at first, camp on the highest spot they found and stopped there to rest, while waiting for the army to pass out of sight which soon happened. Once they relaxed, not too soon after the whole affair, they set down to eat something and get some sleep. The night passed uneventfully and the morning came with no fire and it was even colder than the day before. Those that kept watch didn't let the fire burn throughout the night so that they would save the wood they gathered for the next nights. Once they got as warm as they could and fell asleep in their furs they let it die down in its own rhythm. The morning felt colder than the evening before and the sun that was rising didn't do anything, it felt weak as the wind was like a blade cutting through one's face and clothes.
The group gathered the things as fast as possible and set off North in order to find a passage East through the mountains and to reach the other side of the land. Once more they passed by the Dwarven structures and then small area with the trees and kept going. North and up as now the land started to gradually elevate. It was a hard walk and it was getting harder as they kept going. The snow that was falling was thick and they couldn't see for more than two steps ahead of them. that was why they failed to see that they were marching into a blizzard. When they realised it it was late but luckily Carmillia saw some trees ahead and started linking their hands and the four kept onwards and towards the trees. The ground was slippery or sticky and the wind was getting worse, every now and then a branch of a tree would fly and hit someone hard and some of them fell once or twice. But they kept going and managed to get hold of the first tree that they saw. They hugged it tightly and waited for the blizzard to pass. A flying branch made Gaeded lose her grip and she flew and slammed against a tree, something similar happened to Carmillia and she flew away too but a tree stopped her. Both of them fell unconscious. The only thing that Fiontann and [[Athlenah[[ could do was to wait for the blizzard to pass before reaching out to their companions and so they did. And it wasn't long.
Without effort, as the two were only a few feet away, they carried them onwards, continuing their trek. But the women wre unconscious and they had to be carried. What seemed to be a search for a respite spot turned out to be a run as the moment that they reached what seemed a secluded spot arrows flown towards them. Goblins, once more. But this time they saw the group. There was only one way to escape and that was North, but they did not know what they would find there. They expected safety...
