Located along the road from Staddle to Bree, a warm and welcoming hobbit-owned establishment is newly opened for business to all goodly folk. Guests may enjoy our seasonal fare and our friendly staff will never let your mug empty of brew. Bring a friend or come as you are!

The Twisted Thistle is located at 4 Wending Way, Goatbottle in the Shire housing. Real cooks are on hand and ‘real’ food and drink are traded, unless patrons specify an RP-only exchange. Tips are most welcome.

We permit some lore-bending; though we expect Men and Hobbit visitors due to our RP location, your Elf, Dwarf or Beorning character can absolutely come enjoy our service too. We ask only that you take any brawls outside for tidiness' sake because our scullion is quite lazy.

For now, we have no set schedule but will announce openings in world chat. If we garner enough interest we may consider regular hours of operation. The tavern is also available to all for BYORP should you wish to use the facility when we’re not officially open.
