Overlooking ruin

Fur wetted by the heavy rainfall give off an earthy scent as heavy paws drag up the mighty beast to upper grounds. The sun has long set behind behind distant mountaintops lining the horizon. The only visible light would be the warm radiance from the houses still standing amidst ruin. The beast turns slowly in the seeming silence, now beholding this town strange to her. This town she may as of now, for a while, call home.
